Insect Camouflage
As you know camouflage is part of the military’s use of camouflage, is a way of hiding in plain sight. The objective is to merge into the environment and not to be detected. This happens also in the nature, color blending is used for defensive and avoiding detection purposes, like some animals and insects do for their protection and survival. As you can see in this picture the Camo Moth blends completely with the leaf background, this insect is patterned to look like the background, perhaps where is living.
