In the Linux world is possible to find so many distributions and they are available for all users that like to use this operating system. The main popular Linux distribution are Urbuntu, CentOS, Mint or Arch, well, there are more, but there are also some “different distributions” and one of them is Puppy; this little Linux operating system allows to adapt any PC, even the old PCs with low resources, into a super computer, but simple, fast and secure computer. Puppy linux is a variant built using packages from Ubuntu. This distribution was built by Barry Kauler and now the Version 5.7.1 was recently released; and will be available in the 4G (NO PAE) and PAE versions. For those who want to run Puppy in a flash drive, can use the Lili USB Creator. But you don’t need to install it to hard disk to run, you can burn an image, ISO to CD/DVD and boot the PC or laptop with it. Puppy, it’s a completely free and open source software. Check it out!
