Firefox 7 has been released and now (and with a promise from Mozilla) this browser is less of a memory taken, reducing memory use to make browsing faster. The new version will consume up to 50 per cent less of your system’s memory. This new version has been development to eliminating bugs behind memory leaks and putting in place practices to detect regressions. Dotzler noted that Firefox 5 is in Beta testing phase, and Firefox 6 is at the Aurora stage, while Firefox 7 is already in Nightly version development.
