A Latin Record, Torre Bicentenario
on October 31, 2007 at 9:44 pmIn September of 2010 will be celebrated the 200th anniversary of Mexico’s Independence, in that year it will be finished in the heart of Mexico City, the Torre Bicentenario (Bicentenary Tower), it will become the tallest tower of Latin America.
The 300 meter tall tower will have over 160,000 square meters (1.72 million square feet) of office space, fine dining, museums, gymnasium, and retail establishments, the structure of this tower will focus on reducing energy utilization and water use. The Torre Bicentenario project was designed by Rem Koolhaas and Groupo Danhos.
